Summary of definition for research Primary Research is when you collect data. Secondary Research is data that already exists. Quantitive Research is hard data, numbers and stats. Qualitative Research is opinions, feelings and soft data. The benefits of all research The benefits of research are to find out information using either primary, secondary, quantitive or qualitative research techniques. Usually, it doesn't matter what kind of research technique you use as long as you actually find out information. The most common technique is secondary research because it is the easiest way to find out information, without having to do all the required things that you have to do the primary research. Best research techniques There isn't a best technique, but the one that people appreciate the most is primary research. Simply because it is fresh and new information. Colour Wheel

Image
This is my colour wheel that I made in Adobe InDesign of photos that I took of colours everywhere. I started off by taking the photos of things that had a nice colour or really just generally popped out. Then I came in and uploaded them onto the desktop in college and opened up InDesign. I then looked up a colour wheel and tried to place mine in a similar order to that. The best use for colours like these would be to use them in a work of art or/in a magazine. This is because these colours are unique because they were taken from the outside world. White balancing is important in a film because too much could cause your image of the shot to be a cold bluish white.

ARRIVAL - Movie Review

Arrival. A film starring Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner who portray characters investigating in the translation of languages spoken by a foreign species that have arrived on Earth. Not your typical alien film I must admit but certainly one of peace and understanding between human kind and aliens. Throughout the film, we are given these flashbacks by Amy Adams' character 'Louise' who is a language teacher and historian at a University somewhere in America. These flashbacks are memories of her and her daughter having fun and playing at the start but as we carry on through the film we understand that she is diagnosed with a rare "unstoppable" disease. Later in the film the daughter dies and is lying in a hospital bed when Lousie says "come back to me" which she had said previously in the film to her as well.  After the start of the film where the aliens arrive and people across the globe are all panicking and buying crucial supplies in order to avoid goin

I took my lifestyle and personality and thought about who do I want to be like and what I want, my portrait to look like. I looked up Lewis Hamilton, someone who I look up to and I knew that there would be something there that I would want to do. I found some portraits and put them together.I like the idea of wearing my racing suit and my helmet because I do a lot of Karting is a hobby of mine in which I  compete. I will come in next week and take a picture of my self with my suit on. Some of my other features of which I noted down were the fact that I have a unique hair style and I'm a sports person. I want to put all that on display and I think the way I will do that is I will have someone take a picture of me on the upper part of my body with my helmet in hand. In this research, I learned that background is key and if there is too much in the background then the portrait will not be
