Zach:

Really good, liked the way you balanced the serious and funny side of the story. I like how it also had a few dark moments that kept me engaged. The teacher is strict but funny in a way because a the end off the day he's mad at him for going to the toilet!! This was then led onto more funny things like 'I's cockiness and lines that he says. In particular when he got thrown to the floor by the assassin he relies "What?! is that a threat?" he took the mick and then got slapped which had a really funny touch.



Emily:

I thought that the acting was great and the part was Ieuan is interrogated by the Assassin (George) was great. I liked Ashley's part because the link Ieuan to have a funny and friendly side as well as a kid hacker. The script was great. I like a couple of the one liners in there. Especially the one at the end, "Dinner is served" that was funny. There was a bit of comedy in there, this was important for a serious film.



Sam:

The film was a good watch which was confusing at times but it was all explained when he said: "Finally, government files!" That was both spooky and informative because the 'flashbacks' weren't looking like flashbacks until he says that.
Apart from this, the film was good.

Opinion from pitch My pitch was great! I know that I must be more vigilant and thoroughly plan my project out, and I will up my game to aim for the Distinction grade. I know it went well because I knew my point was getting across. The point of this film is the fact that the 'Caterham' is an under-rated underdog supercar that people have overlooked. Or just simply that people don't know about it. So I will teach them not just about the car but the community and the whole prospectus. I knew this was getting across since my presentation was explaining it. Ed told me that my presentation was good so I could tell he knew what I wanted to do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKNi9IYfMTc In my 60 second video, I chose to go with tension as my genre. I haven't tried tension and it was something I wanted to do. I liked making this film but at the start, I was aiming for a comedy and I guess it is a bit of both.  From target 3.1 I learned new and interesting shot types such as, a low angle looking up and the high angle looking down which are great to use because they show how a character is feeling. For example, the low angle looking up can show that a character is feeling intimidated and a high angle looking down is the person providing the argument. I learned this through watching 'A few good men" in the "You can't handle the truth" scene.  In my film, I use the low angle facing up to the girl so the guy in the chair was feeling intimidated. This gives my film a twist because you don't expect the guy in the chair to be intimidated since he is giving the girl orders. I tried to crea

For the product assessment, I have asked 4 people to write a short paragraph stating what was good and bad about my film and what I could change. I did this not only because the brief requires it but out of personal interest to see what people made of my film. I was very intrigued by what they thought of it and not for them to just say 'good' but go into detail and perhaps pick my film apart. This method has definitely proven worthy in the past as I have had much feedback on previous short films explaining not only what was wrong but why it was wrong which helped me learn a great deal about me as a director and learn a lot more about my film. I have learned many valuable lessons such as; 'Always keep your target audience in mind' and 'keep the camera work as smooth as possible if it's a crucial scene.'
