2.3 - How it did.

In my 1 day of assessing my new account, I have watched the photos grow to be very much liked. I saw that everyone else who used the hashtag bc alt bath spread their photos publishing over a week as I released all mine over practically 10 minutes and it got more likes than I thought it would. I love how it turned out because actually I did a little math and as it turns out I am well up there with the likes in the hashtag section.  If you click on the #bcaltbath hashtag in blue then you'll see.

The photo that did the best was the one of me jumping without my hood up. I think people liked that because that was the last one I posted and so, therefore, they saw me be revealed since you couldn't see my face in all of them except that one. I don't think it would have done that well if it had been posted first. I think that the fact it was a revealed one made it most liked.

Runner up:
In the same place as the revealer one, except this one was heavily modified in photoshop and then an Instagram filter on top of that. The reason it's nice is because it is gleaming out highlighted parts of me.

Bronze (3rd):
The one of me in Victoria Park (Viki park) in black and white with my big coat on and my head facing down. I feel this one is great because of the authentic beautiful background.

Opinion from pitch My pitch was great! I know that I must be more vigilant and thoroughly plan my project out, and I will up my game to aim for the Distinction grade. I know it went well because I knew my point was getting across. The point of this film is the fact that the 'Caterham' is an under-rated underdog supercar that people have overlooked. Or just simply that people don't know about it. So I will teach them not just about the car but the community and the whole prospectus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKNi9IYfMTc In my 60 second video, I chose to go with tension as my genre. I haven't tried tension and it was something I wanted to do. I liked making this film but at the start, I was aiming for a comedy and I guess it is a bit of both.  From target 3.1 I learned new and interesting shot types such as, a low angle looking up and the high angle looking down which are great to use because they show how a character is feeling. For example, the low angle looking up can show that a character is feeling intimidated and a high angle looking down is the person providing the argument. I learned this through watching 'A few good men" in the "You can't handle the truth" scene.  In my film, I use the low angle facing up to the girl so the guy in the chair was feeling intimidated. This gives my film a twist because you don't expect the guy in the chair to be intimidated since he is giving the girl orders. I tried to crea

For the product assessment, I have asked 4 people to write a short paragraph stating what was good and bad about my film and what I could change. I did this not only because the brief requires it but out of personal interest to see what people made of my film. I was very intrigued by what they thought of it and not for them to just say 'good' but go into detail and perhaps pick my film apart. This method has definitely proven worthy in the past as I have had much feedback on previous short films explaining not only what was wrong but why it was wrong which helped me learn a great deal about me as a director and learn a lot more about my film. I have learned many valuable lessons such as; 'Always keep your target audience in mind' and 'keep the camera work as smooth as possible if it's a crucial scene.'
