'BANANAS'

In this film that I shot with a team of 5 (including actors) we made a short film for the soul purpose of understanding the 180 degree rule. It was interesting to use Adobe Premiere on myself because it gave me that extra push to make my film the best. I had passion because I feel that having my face in their had a massive impact on the way I influenced the the progress on my editing.

I really enjoyed the making of the film but I also enjoyed the acting. It was fun to make because i was with my friends and that made it a fun unscripted experience for future days where we are going to make an actual movie! It was quite nice because following a script, and that is easy. It was great because it made me think so it gave it more of an original feel which is nice because they were real reactions as a pose to fake acting.

The real best part of the making of the film was that anything can happen so, what we made for the fact that they were real reactions was in a since very mature and professional.

Opinion from pitch My pitch was great! I know that I must be more vigilant and thoroughly plan my project out, and I will up my game to aim for the Distinction grade. I know it went well because I knew my point was getting across. The point of this film is the fact that the 'Caterham' is an under-rated underdog supercar that people have overlooked. Or just simply that people don't know about it. So I will teach them not just about the car but the community and the whole prospectus. 60 Seconds

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKNi9IYfMTc In my 60 second video, I chose to go with tension as my genre. I haven't tried tension and it was something I wanted to do. I liked making this film but at the start, I was aiming for a comedy and I guess it is a bit of both.  From target 3.1 I learned new and interesting shot types such as, a low angle looking up and the high angle looking down which are great to use because they show how a character is feeling. For example, the low angle looking up can show that a character is feeling intimidated and a high angle looking down is the person providing the argument. I learned this through watching 'A few good men" in the "You can't handle the truth" scene.  In my film, I use the low angle facing up to the girl so the guy in the chair was feeling intimidated. For the product assessment, I have asked 4 people to write a short paragraph stating what was good and bad about my film and what I could change. I did this not only because the brief requires it but out of personal interest to see what people made of my film. I was very intrigued by what they thought of it and not for them to just say 'good' but go into detail and perhaps pick my film apart. This method has definitely proven worthy in the past as I have had much feedback on previous short films explaining not only what was wrong but why it was wrong which helped me learn a great deal about me as a director and learn a lot more about my film. I have learned many valuable lessons such as; 'Always keep your target audience in mind' and 'keep the camera work as smooth as possible if it's a crucial scene.'
