Stage of postcards
In the stages of making my postcards, I had started by going out into Bath and taking pictures of the things that I though make Bath stand out, for example the roman Baths and the rugby and also the famous hotel that looks over the waters in the city centre.
Secondly, I then took the photos back and chose the correct ones that I thought were the best one to apply. After that I proceeded to carry onto designing my layout and so as you can see, in the image below, that they are all different sizes and so this gave my more time to plan the part that would go in-between.
Thirdly, I then carried onto the background after of which I had a think about what I was going to put in-between the cracks because I didn't want to move the sizes of the pictures because those angles show the quality in them. The process of putting the golden tints in took a while so this was probably why it look so great in my opinion.
The angles that were chosen on each photo was chosen carefully. My team and I looked hard for all the perfect angles of Bath. I do say that to photo of the crescent is from a high angle so you can really see most of The Royal Crescent. I exposed the image in the top right of the postcard to give the gaps in the rocks to come out more. I really like the way that I put all of the images together because the colour and the lighting work really well together as the gold brings nice a softness tone to break up some of the intensity of the colours.

Using photoshop made it a lot easier to make the postcard. I feel like the colours I used were very suiting and the golden tinted background is also some of my finest work. I used the burn tool to get that very feel in the edges because i thought that it would suit the Rugby badge and also it looks really good anyway.
Here are a couple of the images up close:
