My final products

These are my final postcards:

The first one is for teens and this is because it shows a basic style and most importantly - sport. The Bath Rugby badge is eye catching to most teens, and so should assist them and persuade them to buy it. I like the fact that the faded gold background make it stand out like it does, and that the pictures that are in the background are also of high quality.

The middle postcard is for kids because the font of 'BATH' is childish writing and so should be used with the vibrant red to stand out and make the postcard look appealing. I don't think this is the best out of the three but thats kind of the point. The picture that inter weaves through the postcard and dills the letters give the postcard more colour and also more of a point.

The final one is for adults. This is since, that it is eye catching and that the writing is informative and the information is more mature. Also the font I used appeals especially to adults as a decorative serif font.I also like that fact that the information I put in the card is good for those who like the informative part of life and that the roman baths has been given as a tourist site and something to do whilst in Bath.

The criticism: 

The only criticism I can give is the first card which is very bland writing-wise and that the Bath rugby badge doesn't represent the whole of Bath an that there is no writing on the postcard apart from that.

Opinion from pitch My pitch was great! I know that I must be more vigilant and thoroughly plan my project out, and I will up my game to aim for the Distinction grade. I know it went well because I knew my point was getting across. The point of this film is the fact that the 'Caterham' is an under-rated underdog supercar that people have overlooked. Or just simply that people don't know about it. So I will teach them not just about the car but the community and the whole prospectus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKNi9IYfMTc In my 60 second video, I chose to go with tension as my genre. I haven't tried tension and it was something I wanted to do. I liked making this film but at the start, I was aiming for a comedy and I guess it is a bit of both.  From target 3.1 I learned new and interesting shot types such as, a low angle looking up and the high angle looking down which are great to use because they show how a character is feeling. For example, the low angle looking up can show that a character is feeling intimidated and a high angle looking down is the person providing the argument. I learned this through watching 'A few good men" in the "You can't handle the truth" scene.  In my film, I use the low angle facing up to the girl so the guy in the chair was feeling intimidated. For the product assessment, I have asked 4 people to write a short paragraph stating what was good and bad about my film and what I could change. I did this not only because the brief requires it but out of personal interest to see what people made of my film. I was very intrigued by what they thought of it and not for them to just say 'good' but go into detail and perhaps pick my film apart. This method has definitely proven worthy in the past as I have had much feedback on previous short films explaining not only what was wrong but why it was wrong which helped me learn a great deal about me as a director and learn a lot more about my film. I have learned many valuable lessons such as; 'Always keep your target audience in mind' and 'keep the camera work as smooth as possible if it's a crucial scene.'
